Christopher Keys is a CPA and a partner in the accounting firm of Keys & McBride, located in Tustin, CA. The firm provides tax, accounting and consulting services to businesses, individuals, estates and trusts. The partners of Keys & McBride have been advising successful Orange County businessmen and investors since 1970.
Chris' background includes employment with the international accounting firm of Arthur Young & Co., (now Ernst & Young), and four years in industry as the vice president and chief financial officer of a property management and real estate brokerage firm located in Orange County. Chris has been advising his clients regarding tax and financial issues for the past twelve years. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the California State Society of CPA's. He belongs to the Tax Practice Divisions of both of those organizations and is a member of the Financial Planning Division of the American Institute of CPA's. Chris also provides a unique "Consulting CFO" service to a number of businesses in Orange County where he is the chief financial officer on an interim or a permanent, part-time basis. Chris proudly serves the community as the chief financial officer of the Surfrider Foundation, an international environmental educational organization with 44 domestic chapters and 4 international affiliates, dedicated to the conservation and preservation of beaches, wetlands, waves and clean water. Chris has served in the past as the chairman of The Newport Foundation for the Study of Major Economic Issues, a citizen's economic "think tank" that produced a monthly cable television program shown throughout Orange County, and as a member of the Orange Coast College Accounting Advisory Committee. Chris regularly speaks to public audiences regarding tax, financial and business topics.
